Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are calling it quits on their relationship. They have called off their two-year engagement. They confirmed the split in a statement to People. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” the pair said. “We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.” Lopez has 13-year-old twins, daughter Emme and son Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez has two daughters, Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Lopez and Rodriguez got engaged in March 2019 after two years of dating. The couple had to postpone their wedding twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “You know, we tried twice in 2020. Kris Jenner is doling out divorce advice and it couldn’t come at a better time given her daughter Kim Kardashian’s separation from Kanye West. She has been divorced twice — from her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian, and then from Caitlyn Jenner. She discussed the significance of having priorities when ending a marriage, especially if the exes involved share little ones. She spoke about the topic in a video interview with WSJ. magazine. “I think the most important thing that I learned through my experience, both of my experiences, is that the kids come first,” Jenner, 65, shared. “I think if you keep that in the front of your mind, and know that they are gonna get you through, that the love is gonna get you through, no matter how much you’re hurting.” Jenner, who has been dating Corey Gamble for several years, also admitted divorces “can get really silly.” “And by silly, I mean the things that we put ourselves through and sometimes focus on, that’s so unnecessary, I think you just really have to try to focus on what the priority is,” she explained. “And for me, even at the very young age that I was at at the time, I felt like I knew that this huge responsibility was on me.”

Kyra Sedgwick Recalls Pushing Tom Cruise’s Panic Button
Kyra Sedgwick is opening up about a nerve-wracking moment that occurred in Tom Cruise’s home when her curiosity got the best of her. She appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Wednesday when Drew Barrymore questioned her about being invited to Cruise’s home back in the early ’90s. At the time, Sedgwick’s husband, Kevin Bacon, was filming “A Few Good Men” with Cruise. Sedgwick admitted she had “a pretty good story” about that night at the “Mission: Impossible” actor’s home, adding, “It was a sad moment, but it was a funny story.” She recalled being “very pregnant” when she and Bacon accepted Cruise’s invite to come over for dinner. Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Rob Reiner, and Nicole Kidman were also in attendance. “It was one of those nights that I often don’t get invited to and so there was this like fireplace mantle and I was looking around and there was this little button underneath the mantle. Shawn King Wants To Be Executor Of Larry’s Estate
Larry King’s widow, Shawn King, requested to be the executor of his estate despite the fact that he cut her out of his will prior to his death. She filed the legal documents on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. If approved, the decision would ensure the validity of his original will and allow Shawn to be “appointed as personal representative to administer the estate of the decedent.” A court hearing is scheduled for May 4th. Shawn filed documents in February to contest Larry’s “secret” handwritten will, which emerged following his death at age 87 the month before. The newly uncovered will only mentioned his children — and not his estranged wife, from whom he filed for divorce in August 2019. In the secret will, dated October 17, 2019, Larry said he wanted his $2 million estate to go to his kids Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr., Chance and Cannon. He wrote it before Andy and Chaia tragically died within weeks of each other in the summer of 2020. But Shawn claimed in February that Larry’s ill health left him susceptible to “outside influence” and that he might not have even been aware he was signing the new will. She also claimed that he wasn’t planning to go through with their divorce when he died.

According to Page Six, he was spotted riding a wheelchair along by a bodyguard, clad in a black hoodie and grey jeans. He sported an oversized pair of sunglasses over his mask, with a set of white sneakers to complete the look. Pitt was likely confined to the wheelchair per the longstanding policy by hospitals to avoid liability should a patient injure themselves exiting a facility quote-unquote under their own power. However, there is no information about – what procedure Pitt would have been undergoing.

Dog Pulled From Under Truck
Police, firefighters and animal control officers responded to a Texas home where a man’s German shepherd climbed into the undercarriage of his truck and got stuck. The Lufkin Police Department said the 2-year-old dog, named Booger, had apparently become spooked by overnight storms and sought shelter in the undercarriage of owner Roger Grimes’ truck. Grimes told authorities he went looking for Booger and found the canine’s tail sticking out from under the pickup truck. Booger had climbed up into the undercarriage and was unable to free himself. Police responded with the Lufkin Fire Department and local animal control officers to free Booger. The responders had to remove the front driveshaft and sway bar from under the truck and an animal control officer sedated Booger because the frightened dog was attempting to bite his rescuers. Snake Found In Package Of Lettuce
A grocery store chain said it is investigating after an Australian customer found a venomous snake inside the plastic bag with her pre-packaged lettuce. Lesley Kuhn of Mosman, a Sydney suburb, posted photos to the Facebook group Mosman Living showing the pale headed snake — a venomous species — her son found inside the package of lettuce the family bought from Aldi. “Check packaged lettuces carefully,” Kuhn wrote. Aldi officials said they are investigating the discovery with help from wildlife rescue charity WIRES, which is currently caring for the snake and is planning to release it back into the wild. “We’ve worked with the customer and the team at WIRES to identify the snake’s natural habitat, which is certainly not an Aldi store,” the grocery chain said in a statement. The statement said the store is attempting to determine how the snake came to be inside the lettuce package. “We are working closely with our produce supplier to investigate how this incident could have possibly occurred,” the chain said. Burger Chain Offers Free Food For Tattoo!
A California-based restaurant chain is offering customers free burgers for a year if they get hamburger tattoos bearing the eatery’s name. Farmer Boys announced it partnered with The Honorable Society tattoo shop in West Hollywood, Calif., and Rockin Ink Tattoo in Las Vegas to offer three different 2-inch-by-2-inch tattoo designs. Customers who receive the tattoos will receive free burgers for a year from Farmer Boys locations. Farmer Boys said the promotion celebrates the chain’s 40th anniversary. Dog Brew Taster Wanted
The makers of Busch beer announced they are seeking a very good boy or girl to make $20,000 by serving as “chief tasting officer” for Dog Brew, a “beer” made for dogs. Anheuser-Busch said its inaugural batch of Dog Brew, an alcohol-free “beer” actually made from bone broth, sold out within 24 hours last year, and it is now looking for a canine “chief tasting officer” to help expand the line of offerings. The dog will be paid $20,000 for the role and will be responsible for “taste-testing, quality control, and fulfilling duties as an ambassador for the product.” The dog will also become a “featured creator” for Busch’s social media channels. Perks of the position include pet insurance and a free supply of Dog Brew. “The reaction to Busch Dog Brew’s release last year was so overwhelmingly positive that we knew we had a big challenge in Year 2 to keep the momentum going. So to expand the brand this year, we needed a true expert in the space on our team,” said Daniel Blake, vice president of value brands at Anheuser-Busch. “We’re excited to give one qualified canine a real, paying job and to tap into their insider knowledge of our target consumer to expand Busch Dog Brew in 2021.”

The Most Popular Baby Names Of 2021 So Far
The experts at Nameberry track the most popular names on their site throughout each year, and in the first-quarter report for 2021, they’ve identified Arlo and Ava as the current top names for boys and girls, respectively. Those two picks replaced Luna and Milo, which both ranked No. 1 at the end of 2020.
Other names in the top 10 include similarly short choices such as Isla, Aria, Maeve, Finn, Leo and Kai. The experts also identified trends in the top 100, such as gender-neutral R names for boys (Remy, River and Rory), “heroic” names (Athena, Orion and Arthur), and girl names ending in “e” (Daphne, Penelope and Ariadne).
Nameberry’s chart reflects the most-viewed names on the U.S. website each quarter. Some names draw attention due to genuine popularity in the moment, while others stem from celebrity choices (a la August, which Princess Eugenie and Mandy Moore picked for their newborn sons earlier this year).
“The names in our chart are often up-and-coming ones that are likely to rise, or stay popular, in the next few years,” Nameberry’s resident expert Clare Green wrote on the site. “For the coolest and freshest options, take a look at our readers’ favorites in the first quarter of 2021.”
