Wendy Williams Still Not Returning
Wendy Williams won’t be back in her purple chair until at least February 2022. “The Wendy Williams Show” announced on Wednesday that guest hosts will continue to appear in Williams’ place throughout January when the show returns from its holiday hiatus. Fat Joe and Remy Ma will take over the first week of January, while Michael Rapaport will return to host the daytime talk show the second week. The duo of comedians Kym Whitley and Finesse Mitchell will helm the third week, and fan favorite Sherri Shepherd will close out the month. It’s unclear whether Williams will return in February to take over the rest of Season 13. “Even if she did come back, she’d be a lame duck because her show isn’t renewed beyond this season,” an insider says. The announcement comes amid rumors that Williams has no plans to return to the show amid ongoing health issues.
*********There was a rumor that she’s wheelchair-bound with dementia!! Hope that one’s not true!!
*****Of course, that could also mean she’ll get a slot on “The View!!”

ARod Unloads Miami Home
Alex Rodriguez dropped $5.5 million in April for an investment property in Miami right before his split with Jennifer Lopez. He quickly put the property back on the market on April 26, nearly 10 days after the former couple officially announced the split. The house, located in Bay Point, finally sold on December 6 for $6.3 million. This marks the highest recorded canal front sale in Bay Point’s history. “Inventory in Bay Point is scarce, and my clients were specifically looking for something on the water,” Julianna Castro of Compass, who represented the buyers in the sale, exclusively told The Post. “Having sold Alex the home earlier this year, I knew immediately that the property would be a perfect match. The views of Sabal Lake and Miami’s skyline sealed the deal. The new owners plan to build the most impeccable waterfront spec home, which will truly be a rare gem in the Bay Point community.” A-Rod’s sister and real estate agent, Arlene Susy Dunand of Coldwell Banker Realty, represented him in the sale.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Day With Leonardo DiCaprio
Jennifer Lawrence is starring in the upcoming Netflix film “Don’t Look Up.” She recently revealed why filming the Adam McKay comedy — especially with co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet — was pure and utter “hell.” “It was the most annoying day in my life,” she told Stephen Colbert during a chat on Monday. The day in question was a scene that DiCaprio and Chalamet were filming with Lawrence in a car. “They drove me crazy that day,” she said. “I don’t know what it was,” the mom-to-be continued. “Timothée was just excited to be out of the house [after the pandemic lockdown]. I think it was, like, his first scene. And Leo had picked the song that was playing in the car and was just, like, ‘You know, this song was about, you know, blah, blah, blah.’ ” “Don’t Look Up” debuts in selects theaters on Dec. 10, and Netflix on Dec. 24.

Jennifer Aniston Walked Out Of Reunion Show During Taping
Jennifer Aniston has said she had to walk out of Friends: The Reunion “at certain points” because she felt too emotional. When asked by The Hollywood Reporter why she found the reunion “harder than anticipated” she replied: “Time travel is hard.” “I think we were just so naive walking into it, thinking, ‘How fun is this going to be? They’re putting the sets back together, exactly as they were,’” Aniston continued. “Then you get there and it’s like, ‘Oh right, I hadn’t thought about what was going on the last time I was actually here.’ And it just took me by surprise because it was like, ‘Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life?’ She added: “It was all very jarring and, of course, you’ve got cameras everywhere and I’m already a little emotionally accessible, I guess you could say, so I had to walk out at certain points. I don’t know how they cut around it.”

Jeffrey Epstein Pictured At The Queen’s Log Cabin
A picture of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein relaxing in the Queen‘s log cabin at Balmoral has been shown at her sex trafficking trial. She is seen resting her arm on Epstein’s knee as they sit in the exact same spot in the hut in Glen Beg that the Queen has been pictured relaxing in. Although it is not clear when the image was taken, it was previously reported that the former couple were invited to Balmoral by Prince Andrew in 1999. The jury in Maxwell’s trial in New York were shown the image and many others of the couple yesterday as prosecutors characterized them as ‘partners in crime’. Another image shows Maxwell massaging Epstein’s feet on his private jet, which was named the Lolita Express. A third showed her kissing his cheek with her arms wrapped around him, while in a fourth the couple were seen sitting on a motorbike together. See the pic HERE.
********There were “two perverts in a pod!!!”

Taylor’s Swift Deal On $18M NYC House-(National Enquirer)
Songbird Taylor Swift has an ear for music AND an eye for real estate! The 11-time Grammy winner, 32, just paid over $18 million for a classic 19-th century building in New York City’s tony Tribeca area-and it wasn’t even on the market! “Her people literally knocked on the front door and said, ‘Taylor Swift wants to buy your house.’ The house wasn’t for sale, but she made the owner an offer they couldn’t refuse!” spilled a source.
Whining Rocker Ain’t In the Pink-(Globe)
Pouty pop star Pink complains hip surgery slowed her roll! “It was a brutal first week full of tears and pain med depression, ulcers from meds and constant fevers,” grumbles the 42-year-old “Bad Influence” singer, who thanks husband Carey Hart for plumping her pillows. He “dried my tears, cooked me oatmeal, kept track of my meds, got me my phone charger, plugged in my compressions machines, took my temp, made the bed, and talked me off the ledge.”
Better Together-(Us Weekly)
On Dec. 11, former Yankee Nick Swisher, 41, and actress Jeanne Garcia Swisher, 42, will toast to 11 years of wedded bliss. The secret to their lasting love? “You’ve got to marry your best friend,” Nick says. “You’ve got to have someone who wants the best for you. She’s been that rock.”
As See On TV: Zendaya-(Star)
She got her big break in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up at 14. Ironically, the 25-year-old had first appeared in a TV commercial for toys based on iCarly-a show that ran on rival network Nickelodeon. Today, the Euphoria star is proud of her early acting jobs, and credits Disney for her early success: “I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to do.”
Worst Hollywood Boss! Charlize Theron-(Life & Style)
Charlize has joked that she’s “built a career” on playing people who movie audiences “don’t like,” from a serial killer to an evil queen. But she’s not exactly approachable behind closed doors either. A former nanny claims she “wasn’t allowed to speak to Charlize or even look her in the eye.” If she had a concern? The Oscar winner, 46-who adopted daughters Jackson and August in 2012 and 2015-allegedly insisted the employee write it down on a piece of paper instead of telling her about it.
One Last Thing: Brooke Shields-(People)
The actress 56, who just launched her online platform and wellness brand, Beginning Is Now, stars in the new Netflix film A Castle for Christmas.
Last time I won something-
A cribbage game last Sunday. I learned on the set of Wanda Nevada [in 1979]; we’d have games between takes. I was better than Peter Fonda; Henry [Fonda] didn’t play, but some of the teamsters were better than me.
Last time I was starstruck-
I ran into Chloe Fineman from SNL and said, “Hey, I love you.” I thought, “Wow, I’m saying a random thing to her like people do to me.” She does insanely wonderful imitations including a Drew Barrymore that’s out of control.
Last time I danced-
This morning in the kitchen to Beyonce’s “Hold Up” from her album Lemonade. I’m thinking I’m a good dancer, but then again, there were no witnesses.
Jen’s an Influencer Now?-(In Touch)
The one where Jennifer Aniston turns into a Kardashian? The Friends star, 52, took forever to join social media, but now that she has 38.6 million Instagram followers, she’s……sharing recipes for collagen smoothies and her new haircare line. “Jen already has it all, and now she’s getting paid to hawk products to unsuspecting fans,” a source says of the actress, who’s worth $300 million. “It just feels phony, especially for someone with Jen’s image.” Or, as one fan commented, “How much money does this elitist need for her lavish lifestyle? Used to like her, but no more.” Dislike!

Beer Brewed From Christmas Tree
A Milwaukee brewery is celebrating the holiday season with an extra-festive beer made using spruce from the city’s official Christmas tree. Black Husky Brewery, which opened in 2016, announced that its latest brew, Tree Sproose, features spruce from the Milwaukee’s Christmas tree. “I looked at the tree and I said ‘I think that’s a spruce tree, and I wonder if I could get a couple of branches of that,'” co-owner Tim Eichinger told WTMJ-TV. Katie Major and Mike Connell, the couple who donated the city’s tree, participated in the bottling, alongside brewery employees and personnel from the Department of Public Works Forestry Services. Eichinger said a portion of sales from the 9.9% alcohol-by-volume brew will help support the Milwaukee Urban Forestry Fund.

Giant Flamingo Returned
A fiberglass flamingo statue stolen from outside a Florida chef’s home was returned just as mysteriously as it disappeared. Chef Cindy Hutson said the flamingo statue, which was once an iconic sight outside the now-closed Ortanique On The Mile restaurant in Coral Gables, was stolen from outside her home while she was out of town last week. Hutson made a public plea for the return of the statue, and the chef said it was dropped off just outside the range of her security cameras while she was out getting sushi Sunday evening. “Those were some brave thieves dropping it off when people are out walking their dogs,” Hutson wrote in an Instagram post. Hutson said she is happy to have the statue back and is grateful “the thieves had a heart.” See the video HERE.

Strangest Hotel Requests
Travelodge in the UK has revealed its strangest requests from guests at some of its hotels this year – including asking where the Welsh rarebit lives and arranging afternoon tea with pandas. Another asked what time they can see the snake on the Snake Pass in Derbyshire. And one guest in York asked a member of staff to sing in the next room to check he had a quiet room. Travelodge spokeswoman Shakila Ahmed said the company had experienced a surge in bookings across its 582 hotels across the UK following the lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year. On the bizarre requests, she said: “With more Britons holidaying on British shores than ever before, our hotel teams have also received a high volume of interesting requests and questions, especially around place names, local dishes, customs and traditions across the British regions. “Where possible, our hotel teams will go above and beyond to help customers as they relish a good challenge. “However, there are some requests beyond their control, such as arranging afternoon tea with the pandas, getting a shooting star to appear at 10pm, getting a part on Emmerdale, and getting seagulls to sing instead of squawk.”

Driver Dragged Under Big Truck
A tractor-trailer was captured on video dragging a sedan on an Illinois freeway earlier this week. A driver in a neighboring lane recorded the harrowing scene, which happened Tuesday just outside Chicago. Illinois State Police said the driver of a black 2005 Honda Accord was changing lanes when the car somehow got stuck underneath the passenger side of a red 2014 Freightliner trailer. The semitrailer dragged the Honda Accord before eventually coming to a stop. The video footage shows the semitrailer appearing to keep up with the speed of other drivers without getting bogged down by the sedan underneath. Toward the end of the clip, someone can be seen waving from the driver’s seat of the sedan. Police identified the semitrailer driver as Mohamed Yousif, 52, of East Moline, Illinois, and the Honda Accord driver as Laylisha A. Gardner, 19, of Evanston, Illinois. No injuries were reported. State police did not provide any further information regarding possible charges. See the video HERE.

The 7 Best Pieces Of Work Advice Therapists Gave In 2021
HUFFINGTON POST
- “Take your self-doubt with you.”
“I often assist women struggling to move from self-doubt to self-confidence at their jobs. I’ve found this is a common issue for women in male-dominated fields and job settings.
“My best piece of advice for improving your confidence at work is: Take your self-doubt with you. And by this I mean, don’t wait until that report is ‘perfect’ to turn it in. Don’t wait until you’ve reread that email to your boss 100 times to send it. Don’t dismiss your idea before you’ve even given it.
“Your self-doubt isn’t going anywhere right away. You have to let it sit up front with you before it will be willing to sit in the back seat, or be gone for good. If you wait to feel confident before you do something, you will never do it.
“Pay attention to the messages that your behaviors are sending your brain. When you are at work, are you unintentionally reinforcing your own self-doubt? Our brains pay attention to everything we do. Then, the brain uses that experience to form how it will respond in the future.
“For example, by rereading that email 100 times, you’re telling your brain there is something wrong with it and that it is best to repeat this every time you have an email to send. So, your brain will continue to send you urges to reread items, and your brain will send you anxious thoughts that something bad will happen if you don’t.
“You have to show your self-doubt how it should behave.” — Shannon Garcia, a psychotherapist at States of Wellness Counseling in Illinois and Wisconsin
- “Recognize that our capacity to do things differs from our capability.”
“I happen to work with a lot of therapists, and one thing I always say to them is you must dedicate time to all the parts of you. Whether that’s family time, hobbies, relationships, you have to stop neglecting those things because you have to do one more task, or send one more email.
“Recognize that our capacity to do things differs from our capability. We are fully capable of taking on a lot, but that doesn’t mean we have the physical, mental and emotional capacity for it. Self-care and nurturing literally builds capacity and overall joy.
“Lastly, we cannot be everything to everyone at the same time. It is not about balance, it’s about presence. If we can fully be present to each task we take on, we have a better experience of things. When it’s time to be an employee, be one. When it’s time to be a mom, friend, dad, sibling, kid, aunt/uncle, dating, spouse/partner, small biz owner, then be that and be fully present.”— Aimee Monterrosa, a licensed clinical social worker based in Los Angeles
- “I encouraged my clients to think about … what ways they could challenge white supremacy cultural norms and how to redefine markers of success.”
“This year, many of my clients struggled with emotional burnout, boundary-setting, and adjusting to remote/hybrid work during the pandemic. The biggest breakthroughs I saw are when I educated clients on white supremacy culture and how it manifests in workplaces and organizations.
“This really resonated with my BIPOC clients as they discussed white privilege, examined norms and standards within their workplaces that were assumed to be universal, and explored how these cultural norms negatively affected their self-esteem and ability to be effective at work.
“One cultural norm that came up often was a sense of urgency and feeling pressured to meet arbitrary deadlines. I encouraged my clients to think about how to incorporate their own personal values into their work, what ways they could challenge white supremacy cultural norms and how to redefine markers of success in their work.” — Adjoa Osei, a clinical psychologist in New York City
- “Your job pays you for your time, experience and effort, but not for your soul.”
“I work with a lot of people who push themselves hard at work and have a difficult time setting boundaries at their demanding jobs. I’ve found myself telling several of them, ‘Your job pays you for your time, experience and effort, but not for your soul or spirit.’
“This often helps them gain the perspective that giving all of themselves to their work isn’t worth it, and isn’t always being asked of them. They can set boundaries with a clear conscience and know it’s important to keep some time and energy for themselves.”— Ryan Howes, a clinical psychologist based in Pasadena, California, and author of “Mental Health Journal for Men”
- “Different doesn’t mean better.”
“I have encouraged my clients to get off of the ‘auto-pilot’ mode they had previously been operating in and recommit to exploring their interests and what brings them joy.
“Let’s face it, many of us have realigned our priorities over the last 20 months. This often means taking an inventory of their skills, interests, and values and looking for a role that better suits who they are now. Ultimately, I encourage thoughtful career moves rather than quick or pressured decision-making, because different doesn’t mean better.” — Cicely Horsham-Brathwaite, a clinical psychologist based in New York City
- “Remind yourself that no job is worth your mental health and happiness.”
“The pandemic has taught us the importance of staying connected with parts of ourselves that are not related to the work we do. It is easy to get lost in the midst of work deadlines, productivity and aiming for that promotion. After all, we have been conditioned to think that in order to succeed we must sacrifice parts of ourselves. Exploring what brings you joy outside of work is one of the things you can do to find a healthy balance between work and life.
“You can start asking yourself the following questions: What brings you peace? What helps you disconnect from work? What parts of yourself do you need to nourish?
“Most importantly, remind yourself that no job is worth your mental health and happiness.” — Katheryn Perez, a marriage and family therapist in Burbank, California
- “If you’re having a hard time, it makes sense.”
“The thing I repeat over and over is that we have been through a trauma with COVID, and if you are feeling confused, unmotivated, scared, uncomfortable, anxious, worried, depressed, unsure of what you want to do next ― people are like, ‘Why am I feeling this way?’ And it’s like, hello, we have been through something –- and we are still going through it -– that really shook our sense of safety. “As humans, we need to feel safe in order for us to connect to others.
“Keep in perspective that we’re just transitioning back to reconnecting as we integrate what we’ve been through. I want people to understand that if you’re having a hard time, it makes sense, and to be compassionate with yourself around it.” ― Elizabeth Cohen, a clinical psychologist in New York City
