Tiger Woods Has No Memory Of Crash

Tiger Woods reportedly has no memory of the car accident that shattered his right leg.  “He had no recollection of the crash itself” when asked about it by investigators at the hospital, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told CNN.  His girlfriend Erica Herman was spotted visiting him at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center along with his caddy Joe LaCava, according to photos published by TMZ.  The cause of the near-fatal accident remains under investigation, Villanueva said during a Facebook Live chat earlier Wednesday.  “We don’t contemplate any charges whatsoever in this crash,” Villanueva said “This remains an accident. An accident is not a crime.”  The sheriff said Woods could be cited for inattentive driving, but that would be an infraction, not a misdemeanor. Authorities have said Woods did not appear intoxicated at the scene and there was no immediate evidence alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, so investigators had no probable cause to collect any of Woods’ fluids for toxicology testing.  Villanueva said investigators would need to come up with probable cause and get a search warrant to test any blood drawn from Woods at the hospital.  He said a search warrant also will be needed to search Woods’ phone records to determine whether he was actively using his phone at the time of the 7 a.m. crash.
*****He also has no memory of all the women he’s been with… so go figure!!!
********Geez…. when WE crash, they can lop off a body part to study it, if they want!!!
*******Why do constitutional protections only apply to people like Tiger Woods and Bruce Springsteen??

Lady Gaga’s Dog’s Stolen

Two of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs named Koji and Gustav were stolen after her dog walker was shot in Hollywood, Calif.  A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that the robbery happened Wednesday night on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood.  The dog walker was transported to the hospital in stable condition and is recovering well, a source close to Gaga told CNN.  The shooter was described as a male. He used a semi-automatic handgun and was spotted leaving in a white sedan. The investigation is ongoing.  A representative for Gaga has confirmed that she is offering $500,000 for her dogs. Gaga is currently in Italy shooting a movie.
*****THIS ONE is a mystery!! Did they know these were her dogs?? Are they being held for ransom??
*****French bulldogs are a hot commodity right now… so it may have been a simple robbery!!

Judge Judy Loses Legal Battle

Judge Judy Sheindlin was dealt a setback in her legal battle against a man she believes is falsely profiting off her long-running courtroom series.   In August, she sued Richard Lawrence and his Rebel Entertainment Partners after he had previously sued CBS’ Big Ticket Entertainment in a dispute over series profits and then again sued the company and Sheindlin personally over library sale profits. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rebel Entertainment Partners is the successor-in-interest to the agency that originally packaged “Judge Judy” and is therefore set to profit off of the show. However, the judge argues that Lawrence didn’t really package the show because he did not represent her, but rather two non-writing producers, Kaye Switzer and Sandi Spreckman, who originally suggested she take her judge career over to TV. Therefore, she argues that he is not entitled to the $22 million in fees he’s collected from the show. However, Sheindlin was dealt a small blow to her case on Wednesday when Lawrence’s attorneys filed a demurrer to the complaint arguing that the TV judge lacked standing to challenge the validity of their client’s contract because she was not a party to it. In addition, they noted that her suit is outside the statute of limitations.  L.A. County Superior Court Judge Richard J. Burdge Jr. agreed and sustained the demurrer with leave to amend. As a result, she now has 30 days to amend her complaint to something that she does indeed have standing on.
********Wait. Judge Judy LOST IN COURT?? How could that be??
*******It’s hard for people to understand why she wouldn’t have standing in regards to her own show!!

Emma Watson May Call It Quits

Emma Watson seems to be taking a break from movies.  She is retiring from acting, the Daily Mail reported. Watson’s agent told the outlet that she is “dormant” from her career and won’t be taking on any new projects for the foreseeable future.  She also reportedly looking to spend more time with rumored fiancé Leo Robinton. The couple have reportedly been dating since 2019.  Watson’s alleged retirement comes after a rocky road following her last film, Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of “Little Women.” Page Six reported in December 2019 that Watson refused to join her fellow cast mates— Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet and Meryl Streep—on the press tour and simply attended the movie’s premiere.

Trisha Yearwood Contracts COVID

Country star Trisha Yearwood has contracted the COVID-19, her husband Garth Brooks announced via Facebook Wednesday.  They are both “currently quarantining at home on the heels of a recent positive Covid test by a member of their team,” per “Team Garth”‘s post from Wednesday evening.  “Subsequent tests they’ve had in recent days have indicated Trisha has contracted Covid, while Garth remains negative.”  “Officially,” Brooks adds, Yearwood is “diagnosed as ‘on her way out of the tunnel’ now, though, which I’m extremely thankful for.”  The recent winter storms that blanketed much of the country prevented Yearwood and Brooks from getting tested for some time.  Yearwood is “okay so far, but is dealing with symptoms,” but Brooks adds that “the possible long-term effects on her [voice] concern me as her husband and as a fan,” and notes that “We’re very lucky she is currently under the greatest care in the best city for treating and healing singers.”
**********This one is tough for anyone… especially singers!!! Best of luck!!!

It instead will be released exclusively to Amazon Prime Video and, for one night only, will screen to 200 cars at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.   “‘Coming to America’ is the quintessential, iconic Queens film, and we are beyond thrilled to host one of the only screenings of its sequel, ‘Coming 2 America,’ right here in the film’s backyard,” said Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. in a press release. The new film again stars Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall, as well as Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones and Wesley Snipes.  Tickets start at $35 per car (which can contain up to five passengers), with discounts available for members of the affiliated organizations.

Khloe’s Pillow-face Panic!-(National Enquirer)

Pals hope she’ll pump the brakes on plumping.  Khloe Kardashian’s face is puffing up like a pillow, and sources said she’s worried it’s unfixable!  “She’s plumped way too much filler into her cheeks and its coming back to haunt her,” spilled an insider.  Friends have watched the 36-year-old reality star morph from girl-next-door to frozen-faced surgery fanatic.  “She still gets injectables because she’d rather have swelling than wrinkles,” said a source.  “It’s a routine she’s followed for years and can’t seem to break.”  Sources said her “enablers” and surgery-obsessed family won’t set her straight.  “Khloe gets a ton of fillers and Botox every month or so, plus lasering on her butt and thighs regularly,” tattled an insider.  “It’s her emotional crutch.  Whenever she feels bad about herself she books another procedure.  She may think she looks beautiful now but too much filler could ruin her looks and she’d be wise to start deflating her face as soon as possible!”

Kristofferson, 84, Rides Into Sunset-(Globe)

Battling memory fog and other ailments linked to Lyme disease, Hollywood legend Kris Kristofferson is holed up like a recluse in his Malibu digs, where pals fear he’s facing his final curtain call, say sources.  The 84-year-old entertainer has hung up his guitar for good and is determined to spend his last days at home with wife of 38 years Lisa Meyers, mom of five of his eight kids.  He also has a daughter with second wife Rita Coolidge; and a daughter and son from his first marriage to Fran Beer.  While he’s quit performing, the aging star has begun working on his second batch of memoirs with explosive revelations about his stormy second marriage to singer Rita, his drinking and affairs-including the truth about his “A Star Is Born” co-star Barbra Streisand.  “He’s writing everything down before he forgets it all,” says the insider.  “He has no regrets.”

Matt Damon is hoping a change of scenery will save his rocky 17-year relationship with wife Luciana Barroso.  The couple and their three girls have set up house in a lavish $7,000-a-night rental in Australia’s tony Byron Bay while the actor films Thor:  Love and Thunder.  According to a friend, the beachy new surroundings are just what the couple needs after hitting a rough patch.  Now, he’s working overtime to ensure Luciana enjoys herself Down Under.  “Matt’s arranged date nights and has bought gifts for her to open every day,” says the pal.  “Even when he’s working, he’s got time set aside for just them.”  The gestures seem to be working:  “It’s the shot in the arm they both needed.”

Rebel & Jacob:  Why They Really Split-(Life & Style)

It’s over!  Rebel Wilson and boyfriend Jacob Busch have called it quits after less than a year of dating.  The actress, 40, made her red-carpet debut with the businessman, 29, in September at a royal gala in Monaco, but an insider claims there were some red flags that she couldn’t ignore as their relationship progressed.  “Jacob was a little too enamored with fame,” explains the insider.  “She started to suspect that he was in it for the wrong reasons, so she cut him loose.”  Rebel isn’t the first celeb Jacob’s romanced.  In 2013, he dated Real Housewives alum Adrienne Maloof after her split from Botched doc Paul Nassif.  “Rebel knows her Prince Charming is out there somewhere,” adds the insider.  “That’s why she’s vowed to be more selective in the future.”

One Last Thing:  Rosamund Pike-(People)

The British actress, 42, stars in the new Netflix dark comedy I Care a Lot.

Last time one of my kids made me laugh-

My youngest son [Atom, 6] does these brilliant slapstick pratfalls.  I was on a Zoom meeting, and he crept in.  I suddenly saw him behind me on my screen, and then he fell-with a totally straight face.  It’s quite fun to be his mom.

Last thing I learned about myself-

That I’m quite capable of crying in a supermarket.  They even have tissues laid out.  I’m sure it’s nothing to do with the coronavirus; it’s for people breaking down.

Last fashion disaster-

Age 22, at my Bond audition.  They said, “Bring a sexy dress.”  My mother was an opera singer, so I brought one of her dresses and it was a big ‘80s thing.  I was not what a Bond girl would wear.

Last Laughs-(In Touch)

“Justin Timberlake’s getting rave reviews for ‘playing’ the villain in FX and Hulu’s Framing Britney Spears.”-DListed’s Michael K.

“Rob Gronkowski won his fourth Super Bowl, scoring two touchdowns in the first half.  He would have had more but he spent the whole second half stuck in The Weeknd’s house of mirrors.”-Jimmy Fallon.

“A Utah them park is sung Taylor Swift over her evermore album title.  I am suing Taylor Swift over her evermore album making me feel too many feelings.”-Stephen Colbert.

Guys Swims With Handcuffs On

A Virginia man jumped into a YMCA pool while wearing handcuffs and swam laps that totaled 5.35 miles to break a Guinness World Record.  Ben Katzman, 32, donned handcuffs and swam the length of the pool at the King George YMCA 344 times.  The previous record for farthest swim wearing handcuffs was set in 2019 by Elham Sadat Asghari, who swam 3.41 miles.  Katzman said his swim not only broke the Guinness record, but also broke several personal records, including his longest swim and his longest time spent swimming with or without handcuffs.

Iceland Gull Visits Florida

Wildlife researchers in Florida said an annual bird survey led to the discovery of a highly unusual visitor to the state: an Iceland gull.  The Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation said staff members and volunteers participated in the 13th Annual Florida Winter Shorebird Survey, and while snapping photos of birds on the East End of Sanibel Island researchers noticed an all-white gull.  The researchers snapped a few photos of the bird before moving on to help an injured pelican nearby, but a later review of the pictures determined the white bird was an Iceland gull.  See the photo HERE.

Sheep Found With 78 Pounds Of Wool

A sheep found living in the wild in Australia was given an overdue shearing and instantly lost 78 pounds.  The Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary said the sheep, now named Baarack, was found living in the wild near Lancefield, Victoria, and rescuers believe he was on his own for several years.  The sanctuary said it appeared that Baarack once had an ear tag, but his overgrown fleece caused the tag to be torn out.  Baarack was given a shearing, his first in several years, and the removed wool weighed in at a staggering 78 pounds.  Rescuers said the fleece was so badly overgrown that it covered part of the sheep’s face and severely limited his ability to see.  See the before and after pics HERE.
******This is how we feel with the barber shops closed!!!
******His name is… Baarack?? Like Obama???

DMV Uses Masked Photo For License

When Leslie Pilgrim visited her local DMV, she never imagined they would send her an ID photo with her wearing a face mask. The California resident who hails from Huntington Beach told FOX 11 Los Angeles that she had waited for the DMV employee behind the camera to let her know when it was the right time to take off her mask.  “When I got up there, I got to the front of the line, I didn’t take it off, I got in front of the backdrop to take my picture, I still didn’t take it off,” Pilgrim explained. “Nobody said anything and then the next thing that anybody said to me was ‘look into the camera’ and then I heard a click, and then I realized he had taken the picture with my mask on.”  However, the employee who snapped the photo realized their mistake and took another one with Pilgrim’s mask removed.  Several days later, Pilgrim received her REAL ID driver license in the mail. But, little did she know she wouldn’t be greeted with her mask-free portrait.  Instead, Pilgrim saw her new $35 license showed her wearing a gray mask that takes up more than half her face. Only her eyes, eyebrows and forehead were visible aside from her hair and neck.  See the pic HERE.
*********Perfect!!!
*******Your tax dollars at work!!!
*******They way things are going, maybe we should ALL have photo I.D.’s with our masks on from now on!!!

7 Things You Should Do In The Morning If You Want More Energy

Huffington Post

  1. Take 10 breaths.

Stress has many effects on the body, one of which is decreased energy. So experts recommend starting the day with an easy, evidence-backed intervention: taking a few deep breaths.

“I try to take a few minutes of deep breathing and silence to center myself before the work day begins,” said Gregory Katz, a cardiologist at Nuvance Health in Connecticut. He recommends a “brief period of focused deep breathing” to pretty much anyone.

Although there are many in-depth breathing exercises and routines available through apps and on the internet, it really doesn’t take much. The researchers behind a recent study that mapped out the “how” of well-being suggest, for example, that simply closing your eyes and focusing on the act of taking 10 breaths can be an effective way to slow down and to start to cultivate a sense of awareness.

  1. Hydrate. (Coffee counts!)

Drinking water, even if you’re not thirsty, can be an energy booster, which is why so many nutritionists recommend downing a glass of water first thing in the morning.

“Staying hydrated helps your energy level because water helps oxygen move through the body. The more efficiently you can deliver oxygen to your muscles and organs, the more energy you’ll have,” said Stephanie Nelson, a registered dietitian and in-house nutrition expert for MyFitnessPal. By contrast, people who are significantly dehydrated can often feel extremely tired and lethargic.

Plus, it’s simple — and free. “I tend to think that hydration is one of the easiest things you can do for yourself, because all you have to do is drink water,” Nelson said. (Eight cups isn’t a hard-and-fast rule; instead, consider urine color if you’re really looking for a good barometer.)

Also caffeine fans, rejoice: “Tea and coffee are not dehydrating,” said Michele Smallidge, director of the B.S. Exercise Science Program at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. Though she recommends getting plenty of water as well, Smallidge said our typical caffeinated beverages “are a source of hydration.”

  1. Get moving.

Physical exercise has all kinds of energy-boosting benefits, from pumping up your endorphins (which can make you feel both relaxed and excited) to improving concentration so you’re ready to tackle your morning to-do list. Research also suggests that people who move their bodies in the morning tend to be more active throughout the day.

It doesn’t need to be an intense cardio session, either. Do whatever type of movement feels good to you; even just a stroll around the block can help.

“Get some physical activity. Whether it’s yoga, stretching or something a bit more strenuous, anything that gets your blood flowing starts the day off right,” Katz said. “The benefits of exercise aren’t just physical; a morning workout sets a tone of self-care and the importance of wellness.”

  1. Make sure you’re actually eating enough.

In general, it’s a good idea to “follow your body’s natural cadence” when it comes to food in order to boost energy in the morning, Smallidge said.

While intermittent fasting continues to be extremely trendy, for energy you really want to be “listening to your body, and its natural rise and fall in blood sugar,” Smallidge said. She recommended eating a breakfast that is “higher in protein and healthy fats,” which may help maintain energy levels throughout the morning.

People tend to get hungry every three to four hours. To keep up energy levels, it’s important to give your body plenty of fuel — so if you’re an early riser, you might eat a few times in the morning, not just once.

  1. … and be mindful of your sugar intake.

Sugar isn’t the enemy by any means, but it can have an effect on your energy levels.

“When you eat a lot of sugar, your body produces high amounts of insulin to pull the sugar out of your blood and into your cells,” Nelson explained. “The overproduction of insulin leads to a sugar crash, making you feel tired, hungry and craving more sugar to bring your blood sugar levels back up.”

Experts don’t believe the goal should necessarily be to avoid sugar altogether. (Who doesn’t love a morning pastry?) Instead, consider ways in which you can cut down on added sugar in the morning — because breakfast does tend to be a pretty big culprit.

  1. Ignore your phone.

When you reach for your phone first thing in the morning, you’re essentially letting someone — or something — else dictate the first thoughts and feelings you have, whether because you’re scrolling through social media or you’re checking the latest headlines. You’re certainly not alone. Two-thirds of Americans say they feel “worn out” by news fatigue.

You don’t necessarily have to go cold turkey, but do think about setting some boundaries that make sense for you.

“A calm start to the morning ― away from scrolling through social media or responding to work emails ― can give your mind a chance to hone focus,” Katz said.

  1. Spend some time really getting to know your own preferences.

What works for one person in the morning won’t work for another, which is why all three experts interviewed for this piece emphasized that some deliberate trial and error is a very good thing. Change up your routine a bit, starting with one habit at a time. (Pick whatever one seems easiest to you, Nelson said.) Then see what happens.

Here’s one really simple example. “My favorite quick and easy meal in the morning is fruit and yogurt,” said Nelson, who said she opts for 2% Greek yogurt, which offers a bit of protein and fat. But she also acknowledged that yogurt doesn’t sit well with everybody. Others might want to try toast with some peanut butter, or eggs or something else entirely.

The overall idea is to get a sense of your baseline, and then spend some time making basic tweaks and just seeing what feels good — and what doesn’t.

“Play around with it,” Nelson urged, adding that people will likely notice that they feel different (or not) pretty soon after making changes to what they eat and drink and how they structure their mornings. “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.”
