Family Hires Famed Attorney To Investigate Don Lewis Disappearance
The family of Carole Baskin’s ex-husband, Don Lewis, has hired celebrity attorney Alex Spiro to investigate his mysterious 1997 disappearance, which came under new scrutiny following the viral release of “Tiger King” last year. Joe Exotic repeatedly made claims in the Tiger King documentary that Baskin killed her husband in 1997 and possibly fed him to her tigers at Big Cat Rescue. Spiro, whose clients include New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Grammy-winning rapper Jay-Z, confirmed that he is investigating Lewis’s disappearance. Lewis’ family wants Spiro to pinpoint a possible murderer and turn his findings over to prosecutors, according to TMZ, who originally reported Spiro was on the case. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister told WTOP that the investigation into Lewis’ disappearance is a cold case, but that he believes Lewis was “murdered” and did not just randomly disappear. No persons of interest or suspects have been named.

Joe Exotic Wants Biden To Pardon Him
Joe Exotic’s latest plea for a pardon comes amid a fearful time for the “Tiger King” star. He revealed on Facebook on Friday that his prostate-specific antigen (PSA) count “came back very high for prostate cancer.” He then shared the symptoms he’s dealing with as he serves time in prison. He shared his eagerness to get a message to President Biden and his administration. “My body is tired, I have lost a tremendous amount of weight, the mouth sores are out of control, I throw up more than I eat. I don’t want anyone’s pity, what I need is when [my attorney] John Phillips gets the evidence he is working on, I need the world to help him get President Biden, VP Harris and the Attorney General to listen to the evidence and see that it’s not just city cops out of control with corruption, but his very own Department of Justice and make this right and sign that pardon that Trump left behind so I can go home and get proper medical care and proper food,” Maldonado-Passage wrote. He also claimed there are U.S. Attorneys, agents and witnesses responsible for “the lies, conspiracy and obstruction to put me here just to further the Big Cat Safety Act, because what they did was criminal, and change the system in my honor.”

Lori Laughlin Wants To Go To Mexico
Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli have asked a judge to allow them to jet off to a Mexican resort while still on probation, according to court documents. They each filed requests in their federal criminal cases seeking court approval to go to San Jose Del Cabo for five days in mid-June to spend time with family. They highlight in the court papers that they’ve been compliant with probation officers while out on supervised release. “Ms. Loughlin has remained in compliance during her term of supervised release. According to the Central District of California, Ms. Loughlin has presented respectfully and cooperatively in all interactions with her Probation Officer,” Loughlin’s request states. Loughlin served two months in federal prison in Dublin, Calif., and was released soon after Christmas 2020. Her husband, who was sentenced to five months in the slammer, was released about two weeks early last month and finished out his term in home confinement.

“Jeopardy!” fans were in disbelief Friday night as the episode filmed weeks prior to its airing appeared to predict Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s reunion. Robert De Niro Suffers Leg Injury
Robert De Niro suffered a leg injury while on location to film his new movie “Killers of the Flower Moon.” He was in Oklahoma to shoot the Western crime drama when the incident occurred, though it did not happen on set. “De Niro injured his quadriceps muscle which will be treated medically in New York,” his rep said. Production on the Martin Scorsese-directed movie will reportedly proceed as scheduled, as De Niro already shot his scenes. “He was not scheduled to film again for another three weeks,” his rep added.

Officials Want Prince Harry To Lose Titles
Senior palace aides say it’s time for Prince Harry to give up his title after quitting his royal duties last year. There’s an increasing sense of “bewilderment and betrayal” inside the palace after Harry blasted his dad, Prince Charles, on Dax Shepard’s podcast this past week, claiming the elder royal passed on a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering” to him. Harry also referenced his grandparents — claiming Charles’ parenting skills reflected his own upbringing by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, which sparked particular anger, aides told the Daily Mail on Sunday. “People are appalled that he could do this to the Queen when the Duke of Edinburgh is barely in his grave,” one aide told the outlet. “To drag his grandfather into this is so shocking and disrespectful. “The Duke of Sussex has now spent a significant amount of time emphasizing that he’s no different to anyone else and attacking the institution which he says has caused him so much pain. There is a growing feeling that if you dislike the institution that much, you shouldn’t have the titles,” the aide said. Another source told the Mail, “They should put the titles into abeyance, so they still exist, but are not used, like they agreed to do with their HRHs. They should just become Harry and Meghan. And if they refuse to do that, they have to explain why not.”

Old Café Menu Found
Workers doing renovations on a cafe in England made a surprising discovery inside the ceiling — a menu from the restaurant that occupied the building in 1913. Natalie Haywood, owner of Leaf in Liverpool, said workers doing renovations on the building found a menu for Yamen Cafe and Tea Rooms, dated Jan. 15, 1913, in the rafters. Haywood said the workers also found a waiter’s hat embroidered with the word “Yaman” and the instructions for a card game called “whist and bottles.” “Down came fluttering from the ceiling this menu from 108 years ago. It’s in absolutely unbelievable condition,” Haywood told CNN. Haywood told the BBC the menu is “like a time capsule hidden in the walls.” She said Leaf plans to try to recreate some of the dishes listed on the menu.

The Guinness World Record holder for the largest collection of fast-food toys said his collection has now doubled to 20,000 toys. Percival Lugue of Apalit, Philippines, was awarded a Guinness World Record in 2014 when his collection of kids’ meal toys from eateries. including McDonald’s, Burger King and Jollibee, was tallied at 10,000 items. Lugue said his collection has grown in the ensuing years and his has now doubled his record with 20,000 toys. Lugue said his eventual goal is to use his collection to start a museum for fast-food toys. See collection HERE.

Lottery Winner “Washed” Her Ticket!!
The winner of a $26 million California Lottery prize may have literally washed the chance of a fortune away! The winning SuperLotto Plus ticket for the Nov. 14 drawing was sold at an Arco AM/PM convenience store in the Los Angeles suburb of Norwalk. Thursday was the last day to redeem it. Store employee Esperanza Hernandez told the Whittier Daily News that a woman came in Wednesday and told workers that she had put the ticket in her pants and it was destroyed in the laundry. The store’s manager told KTLA-TV that surveillance video showed the woman who bought the ticket, and she’s known to store workers. A copy of the surveillance video was turned over to California Lottery officials, the manager said. The claim will be investigated, lottery spokeswoman Cathy Johnston said. Lottery officials say someone who believes he or she is a winner must complete a claim form. But if someone loses a ticket, they must provide evidence that they owned it, such as a photograph of the front and back of the ticket, the officials said. If the prize isn’t claimed, the $19.7 million will go to California public schools.

Woman Calls In Bomb Threat After Losing
A Florida woman says she was just attempting to “blow off steam” when she sent a casino a bomb threat Tuesday after losing $380 while gambling. Adele Belizaire was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly calling in the bomb threat to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa from her Clearwater Beach motel room hours earlier. Since Belizaire’s phone number was on file as a member of the casino’s player’s club, police were easily able to identify her and track her down. Belizaire said “I left a bomb in your casino” during the call, made about 90 minutes after she left the casino on Tuesday night, according to a police report. Casino authorities quickly contacted police after the call, who were then able to ping Belizaire’s phone and locate it at the motel. She was confronted by officers at around 4 a.m. and informed them that she “became upset” after losing the money, explaining that she “has anger issues” and only wanted to make the threat to “blow off steam.”
