Prince Andrew spent two days alone on a luxury California estate watching porn on cable TV. The claim was made by former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown in a new bombshell book that’s coming out on April 26 titled “The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor – The Truth and the Turmoil.” It explores the “scandals, love affairs, power plays and betrayals” that have rocked the British royal family over the last 20 years. It promises to feature new revelations based on Brown’s access to palace insiders. The bestselling author previously wrote a biography on the Princess of Wales titled “The Diana Chronicles,” which was published in 2007. In her new book, he alleged that the Duke of York “was always as oversexed as a boob-ogling adolescent.” “I am told that former US ambassador to the UK Walter Annenberg’s wife, Lee, was appalled when the Duke made a private visit in 1993 to Sunnylands, their magnificent Palm Springs estate in California, and holed up in his bedroom for two days, apparently watching porn on cable TV,” she wrote, as quoted in an excerpt published by The Telegraph. Simon Cowell said that he doesn’t have any filler in his face anymore, noting that an old photo of him with facial fillers was unrecognizable. He told British outlet The Sun that he had gone “a bit too far” at one point with face fillers, saying that they made him look “like something out of a horror film.” “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all,” Cowell told The Sun, saying that his 8-year-old son Eric was “in hysterics.” “Enough was enough,” Cowell continued. “There is no filler in my face at all now. In a teaser clip released this week, she tells her attorney, Marty Singer, in a conversation taped months ago, “Over my dead body is this happening again. I know the right attorneys this time and I’m not going to let this happen to me again.” She adds, “I have all the time, all the money and all of the resources to burn them all to the f–king ground.” Wack 100, who alleged in a podcast back in September 2021 that he has “more graphic” footage of Kardashian and Ray J, responded to the sneak peek via Instagram on Monday. He captioned a video of TMZ discussing the teaser clip, “Dam now I’m confused .. 1st @kimkardashian attorney says I’m lying this doesn’t exist 2nd Now @kimkardashian is saying she’s blocking us releasing it so now I guess she’s admitting her & her team has been lying.” Kardashian herself never flat-out denied that a second tape existed. Gilbert Gottfried Cause Of Death
Fans were shocked by the sudden death of Gilbert Gottfried, who was just 67 when he passed on Tuesday. His family called him “the most iconic voice in comedy” as they confirmed the devastating news in a statement on Tuesday afternoon, saying, “We are heartbroken,” and sharing only that he’d died following a “long illness.” Gottfried’s representative, Glenn Schwartz, has since shared that the actor succumbed to a heart abnormality called recurrent ventricular tachycardia, an arrhythmia caused by myotonic dystrophy Type 2. Myotonic dystrophy (DM) is a genetic disorder marked by progressive muscle wasting and weakness which predominantly affects the limbs and face but can create increasingly dire complications for respiratory, skeletal and cardiac muscles. People with DM are at a higher risk of irregular heartbeat, including ventricular tachycardia, an arrhythmia in the lower chambers of the heart (ventricles) that causes the heart to beat faster. A sustained sped-up rhythm can cause a fatal drop in blood pressure.

Adele and boyfriend Rich Paul have been on a break for the past few weeks, and now they’ve got to decide whether to stay together or split for good. “Adele is doing everything she can think of to try and fix things with Rich,” spills a source. “She does not want this to end, but there’s a lot they need to figure out.” Their relationship hit a rough patch in February after the British singer, 33, cancelled her Las Vegas concert residency 24 hours before opening night. Amid the backlash, “Adele became very needy and demanded that Rich drop everything, which he couldn’t,” the source says of the sports agent, 40. “She’s hoping they can find a way to make this work. Lost Beaver
Police in Poland said a confused beaver that wandered into Krakow was rescued after being spotted walking the city’s streets. The City Guard of Krakow said residents spotted the beaver on the streets Sunday morning Kazimierz district, near the Vistula River. Police sent an animal rescue team to the area, and the beaver was relocated outside the city. The City Guard posted photos of the beaver to Facebook along with a poem asking “Mr. Beaver” why he chose to wander the city. “Wasn’t it better in the woods?” the post asked. The beaver population in Poland fell to an estimated 235 in 1928, but conservation efforts have led to the estimated population booming to nearly 140,000 by 2020. See the beaver HERE.

Self-Driving Car Pulled Over
An unusual traffic stop was caught on camera in San Francisco when police pulled over a car that turned out to be completely unoccupied. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed officers stopped the vehicle in the Richmond District when it was observed driving after dark without its headlights activated. A video captured by a witness shows officers approaching the car after it pulled over and expressing surprise to find it empty. The autonomous vehicle was a taxi operated by Cruise, a company majority-owned by General Motors. “Our AV yielded to the police vehicle, then pulled over to the nearest safe location for the traffic stop, as intended. An officer contacted Cruise personnel and no citation was issued,” Cruise tweeted. The company said San Francisco police are aware of how to deal with the driverless cars. See the video HERE.

Snake Slithers By Driving Couple
A red-bellied black snake slithered across a couple’s feet as they were driving on the Bruce Highway in Australia. The couple pulled over and called reptile specialists Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, who arrived onto the scene on the side of the road. A rep for the company searched the car and found the 3.5 foot long red-bellied black snake in a video uploaded to Facebook. The snake put up a little bit of a fight before it was placed safely into a net. “This is hands down one of the craziest jobs we have had this season!” Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 said. “It was a tough one to catch as well as I didn’t want to have my back facing the highway and had to grab the snake and lift it over the front seats without getting bitten! There were a couple of close calls but hey got the job done!” the company continued. The red-bellied black snake was then released into the wild. See the video HERE.

Alligator Goes For A Walk
A driver in Florida captured video of the moment a large alligator missing a front foot walked across the road, bringing traffic to a temporary halt. Daniel Kaufman said he was driving on Jacaranda Boulevard in Venice when he spotted the large gator dashing into the road and stopped to take video. “We got a straight hog. Look at this beast. It’s like a 10-footer,” Kaufman says in the video, which he posted to Facebook. The video shows traffic stop for the alligator, which was missing its right front foot, as it makes its way across the road, and directly toward Kaufman’s vehicle. “He’s going under my truck. It’s official. He is under my truck,” Kaufman says in the footage. Kaufman said he could feel his truck shift as the massive reptile moved underneath it. He said the gator emerged from the other side of the truck and made it to the opposite side of the road. See the video HERE.

5 Signs Your Co-Worker Might Be A Narcissist (And How To Deal)

- Confident colleagues are OK with others being the center of attention. Narcissists always have to have the last word.
Perpetua Neo, a psychologist and executive coach who works with people who have dealt with narcissistic abuse, said that a need to steal your thunder is a hallmark trait of narcissism in self-aggrandizing co-workers. They may talk over you or interrupt you frequently, she said.
Confident colleagues can celebrate your success and want to see their co-workers shine, while a narcissistic colleague will insert themselves into “any topic, even if it is completely irrelevant, and they will hijack and make it about them,” Neo said.
- Narcissists are charismatic charmers — until your relationship no longer serves them.
At the beginning of a work relationship, narcissists are good at impressing and manipulating their targets to feel like the center of attention, Germain said. But when you stop helping them feel superior and important, don’t be surprised if you see a sudden change in their attitude toward you, even if it’s months or years later.
“You may feed their needs, so there is no need for them to display any of those negative signs,” Germain said. “It’s when trouble brews for them that they start showing all of the negative behaviors.”
- They believe the ends justify the means, and display a consistent lack of empathy to colleagues.
Germain finds the lack of empathy to be a cornerstone of narcissism, one that distinguishes narcissistic co-workers from merely confident ones. They do not care if their success comes at your expense, and they may steal your ideas.
“They will do anything for that prestige, that power,” Germain said. “It doesn’t matter if they have to steal your ideas to appear as brilliant.”
“NPD individuals have a difficult time understanding the feelings of other people, if they even care to understand them,” she said, because “they are on a relentless hunt to guarantee their own narcissistic supply of attention, of approval, prestige, admiration, understanding, encouragement, power, perfection, money, sometimes even beauty.”
This lack of empathy can also manifest as selfishness, disregard and a lack of compassion for other people. Narcissistic types can use their power to belittle and harass you.
They may display disregard, in particular, when your repeated attempts to set “hell no” boundaries are not honored, Neo said.
“They will take every chance to erode upon your boundaries,” she said. “Trample upon [your boundaries] so that they can lower the bar at every successive attempt and train you to put you in your place, so that you… play the role that you are smaller and a lot more deferential to them.”
- They can’t handle criticism.
Narcissistic colleagues don’t reflect on or own up to mistakes. They lash out when they hear negative feedback, because the way they perceive it, “you are not just criticizing their work, you are criticizing their self-worth,” Germain said.
They make you feel small to make themselves feel big. If a person loses control and gets angry at you for offering some constructive criticism, that’s a red flag for narcissism, she said.
- Narcissistic co-workers believe you’re either with them or against them.
There is no neutral ground with narcissistic colleagues.
“They have a very dichotomous approach to life. It’s all or nothing. It’s either good or bad. You’re either a winner or loser,” Germain said. “They don’t do well with defeat.”
If you support a narcissistic co-worker, you are on their good side. “But the day you criticize them, the day you no longer support them… then you will cross over to the enemy side,” Germain said.
To deal with a narcissistic co-worker, do your best to limit your interactions.
Luckily, unlike with narcissistic bosses, narcissistic co-workers have less direct control over your career. But they can still mount smear campaigns and wreck your work experience if they see you as an enemy. Here are some tips on how to deal:
Withdraw. You have every right to set boundaries, even if a narcissist tells you otherwise, Neo said. Germain recommended limiting the attention and praise you give a narcissist.
Narcissists want you to engage with them and lose your temper. Sometimes, the best option for how to deal with one is to limit your interactions as much as possible.
“They love to see people lose their cool. Part of it is a power play. Part of it is a bit of sadism. They want to make you look like a loose cannon, so they can tell you in the future that you are being sensitive and difficult,” Neo said. “Don’t try to hold them accountable all the time. Accountability is what gets you suckered in.“
Document your own contributions. Narcissists are likely to throw you under the bus, so it’s important to keep track of your accomplishments on projects. “You may have to justify your own contributions. It’s sad, but it’s true,” Germain said. She recommended looping people in on certain emails and communications to increase the visibility of your contributions if you’re forced to work with a narcissist on a project.
Go to HR with the narcissistic abuse, and consider an exit strategy if necessary. If the narcissist is berating and belittling you, and you are losing sleep over it, you should take it to human resources, Germain said.
Unfortunately, narcissists tend to be high performers who are often valued by their organization. If a move to a different team is not possible, or if you feel like your complaints are not being heard, Germain recommends job-hunting elsewhere.
“It’s really hard to imagine that you as the victim need to leave, but that’s a self-protective tactic,” she said. “You need to remain proactive by not only recognizing the damaging facets of the NPD person on your work, but also on your well-being. Well-being must remain your focus.“
Lean on your support system outside of work. Germain said narcissistic co-workers are good at gaslighting you into feeling like you are the problem, so it’s important to find a sounding board with a loved one or a therapist who can help you see that “there is nothing wrong with you,” she said.
