Meghan Wanted To Be “The Beyonce Of The UK”
Meghan Markle wanted to be as big as Beyoncé overseas upon marrying Prince Harry, a new book claims. “I think Meghan thought she was going to be the Beyoncé of the UK,” a former palace insider told royal author Valentine Low for “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” (via the Times of London). “Being part of the royal family would give her that kudos,” the insider continued. “Whereas what she discovered was that there were so many rules that were so ridiculous that she couldn’t even do the things that she could do as a private individual, which is tough.” After marrying in 2018, they announced their intention to “step back” from their duties as senior royals. Five days later, the prince’s family members, including Queen Elizabeth II, met to discuss the unprecedented decision in what was dubbed the “Sandringham Summit.” Following the summit, the monarch announced on Jan. 13, 2020, that while she “would have preferred” that Harry and Markle “remain full-time working members of the royal family,” the couple would move forward with their plan to “create a new life.”

Brad Pitt and Emily Ratajkowski have been out a few times together, but they are not officially dating. There has been speculation online that they have been “secretly dating.” But a Hollywood insider with knowledge of the situation tells Page Six of the pair, “People have been speculating about this for a while. Brad is not dating anybody. They [Pitt and Ratajkowski] have been seen a couple times together.” The source notes that Pitt has also “been seen with other people” in recent months and that he is not dating anyone in particular. However, the movie insider cryptically adds, “Stay tuned.” A source claimed to OK! Magazine in late August of Pitt and Ratajkowski, “He asked her out, and she said yes. She’s always thought Brad was cute, and the way she saw it, what did she have to lose?” Pitt is still going through his seemingly never-ending, contentious divorce from Angelina Jolie, while Ratajkowski is divorcing Bear-McClard, 41, after he allegedly cheated on her.

Tom Brady’s three children attended his first home game of the season against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, brought by his mom, Galynn Brady, and one of his sisters. Jack, 15, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, made an adorable appearance on the field before the game. When the season kicked off on Sept. 11 with a game against the Dallas Cowboys, Bündchen missed that game as well. He was “hopeful” that she would attend his home game, a source said last week. The couple, who wed in February 2009, have been making headlines all month since Page Six exclusively reported that the model went to Costa Rica solo after an “epic” fight. She returned to New York City earlier this month, where a witness spotted her crying on the phone. “They are talking, but mostly about the kids at the moment,” another insider said earlier this month, noting that “Tom hopes they will reconcile.”

Oprah and Apple TV Call It Quits
Oprah Winfrey and Apple TV+ have concluded their mega overall deal, first announced in 2018. Both sides have confirmed the evolution, but declined to comment. It’s understood that both sides have agreed to continue to work together, but on a project-by-project basis, now that their previous deal is ending. Winfrey and Apple TV+ are already currently collaborating on the documentary “Sidney,” about the life of iconic Oscar-winning actor Sidney Poitier. That project, directed by Reggie Hudlin, is through Apple Original Films and debuted this past Friday on Apple TV+. Winfrey and Apple also continue to collaborate on “Oprah’s Book Club,” which is available on both OprahDaily.com and Apple Books. Under the pact first signed in 2018, Winfrey and Apple were to create programs that will be released as part of Apple’s original content lineup.

Alan Rickman’s Diary Entries About Harry Potter Role
Excerpts from Alan Rickman’s diaries give a look into the late actor’s journey through the “Harry Potter” franchise, with insight into why he decided to continue playing the role of Severus Snape across all eight films. Prior to production beginning on the series’ fifth entry “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” Rickman was forced to confront health issues. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in 2005 and began to receive treatment. Doctors later decided to remove his entire prostate. Weeks after he was released from the hospital, Rickman wrote an entry in his journal revealing his decision to stay on as the notorious gloomy potions professor. “Finally, yes to HP 5. The sensation is neither up nor down. The argument that wins is the one that says: ‘See it through. It’s your story,’” he wrote. In 2007, the actor recorded his thoughts on his character’s demise written in J.K. Rowling’s final entry in the book series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” adding that he had always known about the harrowing love story between his character and Harry Potter’s mother, Lily. “… I have finished reading the last ‘Harry Potter’ book,” he wrote at the time. “Snape dies heroically, Potter describes him to his children as one of the bravest men he ever knew and calls his son Albus Severus. This was a genuine rite of passage. One small piece of information from Jo Rowling seven years ago – Snape loved Lily – gave me a cliff edge to hang on to.” Rickman also provided his reaction after exiting the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” the first entry of the franchise. “The film should only be seen on a big screen,” Rickman wrote. “It acquires a scale and depth that matches the hideous score by John Williams. Party afterwards at the Savoy is much more fun.” Rickman died Jan. 14, 2016 in London at the age of 69. The beloved actor had been having a quiet battle with pancreatic cancer before his death.

Socks Record
A 14-year-old Alberta girl achieved a Guinness World Record by pulling 22 socks onto her foot in 30 seconds. Carolena Kruse of Calgary said she started training herself to beat the record for most socks put on one foot in 30 seconds (under-16) when she had some downtime after a swimming competition in July, and on her first attempt she was able to tie the previous record of 19, set in May by Aarif Ibn Abdul Halim of India. “You really just have to focus on just putting on the socks and just keep on going,” Kruse told CBC Radio’s Calgary Eyeopener. “You are allowed to start with one sock on your foot, which is nice.” Kruse’s official attempt, recorded by her mother, ended with 22 socks on her foot, enough to take the title.

Twerk-N-Go Convenient Store
A video has emerged of youths ransacking a store and celebrating their shocking behavior by twerking on the counter in front of horrified shoppers. The rowdy group of about 100 rampaging youths were seen in the clip, which was shared on Twitter by CBS journalist Steve Lindsay, causing chaos in a Wawa convenience store in northeast Philadelphia at around 8.20pm on Saturday night (September 24). Teens were filmed hurling food and drinks at one another and running around through the shop before one belligerent young woman was seen twerking on the counter. The employee was heard yelling: “You’re all stupid, For real. You’re all stupid, ugly, broke.” Another clip has since revealed the aftermath of the rampage, where the store appears to be completely torn apart. See the video HERE.

Florida Man DUI
A Florida man was arrested for driving under the influence on Thursday afternoon after crashing into a ditch off I-275. Troopers said they found Adam Smallwood, 39, in the driver’s seat of a car registered to him and with the keys in the ignition. Troopers said Smallwood’s speech was slurred and he kept repeating “we’re going to be okay”. His breath reportedly smelled of alcohol, on top of other indicators of intoxication, like unsteady balance and bloodshot eyes. Troopers said his breath tested at 0.37, more than 4.5 times the legal limit of 0.08. FHP said it took two EMS personnel to help Smallwood out of the car.

Oldest Sisters
Four sisters with a combined age of 389 years were awarded the Guinness World Record for highest combined age of four living siblings. Arlowene Johnson Overskei, 101; Marcene Johnson Scully, 99; Doris Johnson Gaudineer, 96; and Jewell Johnson Beck, 93, were awarded the title when Guinness World Records verified their combined age of 389 years and 197 days as of Aug. 22. The sisters took the record from the Goebel family, who were verified as having a combined age of more than 383 years earlier this year. “We are still living, and that’s something to celebrate,” Gaudineer told the Madison Daily Leader.

If you’re really looking to people-watch, you’re going to want to stay at a local hotel or head to a local restaurant, usually around the West Hollywood area. A good sign that … star-studded guests [will be] arriving is that the establishment won’t allow photos. A few to try: Olivetta, Craig’s or BOA Steakhouse.” ― De La Cruz.
